Dizm was born and raised in Miami, Florida,[citation needed] but left the city to pursue a rap career. In 2003, he met producer T-Pain at a nightclub in Tallahassee, Florida,[citation needed] and traveled with T-Pain for nearly four years as his hype man.

Dizm has been featured on albums by multiple rappers, including T-Pain, 2 Pistols, and Dolla, and will be the first artist to release an album under T-Pain's Nappy Boy Digital label.[1] In 2008, Dizm was among the first artists signed to T-Pain's Nappy Boy Entertainment label. On August 19, Dizm released his debut single, "Beam Me Up," featuring T-Pain and Rick Ross, which was released online via Nappy Boy Digital.[2] The video for "Beam Me Up" debuted at #9 on BET's 106 & Park, peaking at #8. He is featured in all three of T-Pain's solo albums.
